Happy Fall Y'all!

I hosted book club this month. We read The Alchemist, such a thought provoking short and easy read, loved it! We have the best group of girls in book club, I'm so sad I didn't get a shot of all of my beautiful ladies eating dinner in a pumpkin!
The kids threw a killer Halloween party. We danced in the dark with glow sticks, played games, watched a movie and ate yummy, spooky treats!
" Squaw get em firewood!"
The boys
The little girly's
Forgot to get a picture of Zz's bat pumpkin
Grant and his Cheese Grater, that's right, a Cheese Grater!
Eliza and her Kitty (she drew it, momma carved it)
Trunk or Treating with Commander Cody, Lightning McQueen, Dorothy, and Glynda the Good Witch.

What a fun surprise!! I came to our blog expecting to see the same old posts but to my pleasant surprise you had this new recap up. For those of you who don't know, Glory throws the most awesome parties! Thanks for the new post. Love ya!
I want Glynda! Me and Eliza were the same. Looks as though you have become Martha Stewart! Wish I could come to your book club. I love that book. I can remember when we stayed up late and Matt told you like the whole story of it because we want it to be a movie. Remember- we thought mike would be the lead part!? Love ya Squaw.
One other thing…it’s kind of hard to tell, but you should have seen all the cool Halloween treats Glory made for the kids party. If you look at the table you can see the Frankenstein Jello, Mummy Hotdogs, Skeleton Cupcakes, Spooky Cool-aid (w/ dry ice), and Carrot Skeleton Hand coming out of the veggie dip. They were all so classic!
Ah, too bad I was passed out after my surgery and didn't get to see the cool foods. Greg, of course, didn't report on that detail. Actually, very little details, to be honest. I was, however, fortunate enough to attend bookclub, which was AWESOME and your pics don't do it justice. I loved it.
And you.
a cheese grater? your child is an avant-garde genius......pure freakin genius. has he bought his first david bowie album yet, or orange eye shadow? (i mean this in a total heterosexual way, he'll be the freaky lady killer in a trench coat and slicked back hair...and a little mustache. what is up with that kid? oh i admire him so. i have a feeling he'll listen to a lot of weezer, haha) oh....and your next book club book should be 'hitchhiker's guide to the glaxay.' pimp. dont go all oprah on me, ya hear?
Looks like a fun party! Your kids look so cute!!
HOW FUN TO DRESS UP YOUR NEW HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS!! I LOVE HOW YOU MOVED IN AND ARE ALREADY THROWING PARTIES, I WISH WE WERE YOUR NEIGHBORS!
glory, you leave me breathless. if i dont see another blog on here soon i am about to have an asthma attack. UNPLUG MY COMPUTER!!!!!!!!!!! (please, i'm such a loser.) it is a bad day when there is no new glory blog. tell me about all of the stupid vacuums you like, and how to make skeletons out of milk jugs, and that one time you lived in the duplo but you still dressed it up. now i'm really crying. it was amazing. and we watched ratatouille, and i asked out that one grocery boy. and your house smelled like burnt pumpkin and we ate a lot of really strong garlic hummus. and deborah made us fat. oh, and i saw that ghost, and it was real, and i wasnt on drugs. and then after that me and my bad b.o. crashed your highschool reunion, after i dropped you off in my sweet 79' honda, oh boy i shoulda honked the horn a little more. and then we ran in the sprinklers...(did i tell you i was high??? just kidding.) and then we did other stuff.
Glory! I didn't even know you'd been updating! Hooray! I love all your fall/Halloween pics! And I want to come be in your book group! I guess I'm excited about your post because I can't stop using exclamation points!
Anyway, your kids all look darling in their costumes, you look beautiful, of course, and I love all the little snacks you made for the Halloween party.
So how cute are those kids! I agree- Glory knows how to throw a party. Looks like your Fall couldn't be any better!
And I now think I need to get me one of those book clubs...
