Cowtown Marathon in Fort Worth

4 HOURS 11 MINUTES AND 20 SECONDS!
Well, I've done it! I'm now officially a marathoner. I've got some stiff muscles, and I look pretty silly trying to walk up or down stairs, but I feel amazing! Was it worth it? Totally! Would I do it again? In a heart beat! I could not have done it without my sweet husband and children's support and excitement for me. Thanks Paul, Grant, Eliza and Zachary, you really are the best!

I can't believe you had any strength left to be able to hold that big boy. Is he so happy to see you and is never letting go are is he asleep.

No, he was not asleep, he just did not want to let go of his Mama. He's my little snuggler!

You are amazing, Glory. Probably one of the toughest people I know. It makes me tired to even think about a marathon. Wow. In all the pictures you look like you're ready to go run another one.

Every time I make bread I think of you - do you still want to get together to make some? I sent you an email a while back, but I'm not sure if you got it. Email me if you still want to do bread and we'll figure out a time.

Now you know that you can run away from a mugger or someone trying to get you. Talk about kicking butt!

Glory, it was so funny when you emailed me. I found your blog from Kari and read about your marathon the night before! Dang, girl, you are crazy! That's awsome that your pic was put online too. You look great and like you still had energy left. See ya!
