We had a wonderful Easter, we had like four Easter egg hunts, saw lots of friends and ate plenty of good food. Grant, who has never readily accepted any thing on their face value has always doubted the existence of an Easter Bunny. I think he's always just pretended to believe to make me and Paul happy. This year he was tired of pretending and almost nervously, afraid I would be upset said, "Mom, I know there is no Easter bunny, and that it's you and Dad". I couldn't help but smile, I knew this day was coming soon. We had a nice little chat about it, however, we threatened not to give him an Easter basket if he told his sister. He didn't say another word about it after that. Sheesh, they grow up too fast.

I couldn't resist the matching ties for the boys
Posing so beautifully for the camera...as usual!

I love the picture of all the kids. They are all so darn beautiful and perfect. I miss you guys so much! Grant- A true older brother. I can imagine how fun it would be for him to tell Eliza the truth. And it's nice that he knows. I always feel bad for the kids who keep on believing- what a blow, that their parents have been lying to them. Call me. I want to keep talking to you everyday. You make me glow. love you xoxo
Are those ties from the Children's Place? I saw some there and it was the first time I got excited about having a little boy to dress!
I think the ties were an awesome purchase. Good choice! And Grant- you are far to wise for your age. I must agree with Amy on the kids that believe when they are like 13. (Spoiler Alert!!) Steve's Dad accidentally broke the news about Santa to a 12 year old at church on Christmas Day. Can you believe that the dad actually yelled at him? Hmmmm... I smell issues... I'll tell you the full story later and sorry to any readers out there whom I might have just spoiled it for!
Well, when my brother was 17 he came to my parents one night and said he had a serious question. My parents were nervous until he said that he needed to know the truth about Santa. Was he real or not. He said he needed to know so that when he had kids he would know if Santa was coming or he needed to perform the magic. The next year my Mom bought him a baseball cap that said, "I believe".
