I can't believe it's been ten years since high school! Actually, it feels longer since I've done more in the last 10 years than I did the first 18 years of my life! I was excited to have a mini vacation while my sweet hubby stayed home with the kids. I was only gone for the weekend, but it was perfect. Just sitting on an airplane alone for 5 hours with my new book (Eclipse, I know I'm only on the third one. I'm trying to catch up so I can read number 4, wahoo! ;) ) Just the plane ride could have been a vacation in itself.
I was so happy to see my family since I don't make it out there much. I pretty much got to see the whole gang! I saw a ton of siblings, nieces and nephews, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins...phew, what a weekend! Oh, and not to mention a ton of people I haven't seen since High School! Our reunion took place right in good 'ole Placerville at one of the vineyards, it was beautiful! I was surprised, and I'll admit a little disappointed that every body looked pretty much the same since I last saw them. I was hoping to get some entertainment out of seeing which people had dramatically changed since high school. I guess I was happy everybody looked so good. The whole night was totally fun, I am soo glad I went! Enjoy the pictures, these are for you Kari and Emily, I missed you guys!
Sorry, I have a lot of blurry pictures. It was either my camera, or whatever drunk person I could find to take the picture.

That looks so fun... And sitting on an airplane reading sounds amazing with out interuptions. I just finished the last book last night. I really liked it :) I can't believe how big Alex is. I haven't seem him forever it seems. I'm glad he is happy. :)
That is so fun that you got to see everyone in your family, too! I got to see everyone except for Jeremy. I can't believe how old Alex is! Last time I saw him he was like 10 or something. That is awesome that he likes the group home.
It was really good to see you too, Glory! Thanks for posting all the pictures!
Holy camoley. I love it. Hey, you never told me about Alex. You need to call me back now that I have seen your pictures I have some questions! fun fun!!! love you xoxoxo
Very fun- especially to spend some time with Alex! You look so cute- I see a teeny tiny bump! I love it!!
I personally have a goal to weigh like 600 pounds so when I go to my 10 year reunion, I will totally know who is a liar when they say, "You haven't changed a bit!" I will then say with powdered donuts spewing out of my mouth, "Thanks! I feel like I did 10 years ago!" I hope that you had a great time catching up with old friends. Miss you!
I can't believe Alex is 18! I remember when he was born! Glad you were able to have a breather, I'm sure that's always nice!
Hi Glory, it's Adrienne Beatty. I love the reunion pics... Your brother Alex, what fun that must have been to see him! I can't believe how fast we all go from so small to so tall. Best to you,
adie b
How fun to be able to go to your reunion! I loved seeing the pregnant pictures - you look gorgeous as always.
Whenever I look at your blog it makes me sad you guys moved away. Come back!
Also, if one of your kids really wants a dinosaur cake someday, email me and I'll give you instructions - it was much easier than it looked - I don't know any fancy cake tricks or anything, so it was pretty straight-forward.
hey girl, looks like you had a ton of fun. I know what you mean about a plane ride ALONE being a vacation in itself. haha Jeff kept teasing me about going to my "highschool reunion." so I"m glad that I could live it through you. haha I at least recognized Sarah and Wynter! You looked great! did any of the guys from our ward go? I've wondered what happened to most of them.
Glo- I loved seeing so many of those familiar faces from your grade, especially Wynter and Sara. It's so good to see they're doing so well! My favorite picture was your mom and Alex though. I got teary eyed to just see how he's grown. You are a great sister to go check up on your little celestial brother like that! Love ya!
