Back to School, Back to School

My little boy Grant is in third grade this year, and my baby girl is in Kindergarten!! It was a very exciting day for my kids, neither of them could sleep the night before. Despite the fact that this is Grant's 5th elementary school he's attended, he loves school and makes friends easily. He has yet to attend the same school twice. He's such a trooper. The kids were excited to finally be able to wear the clothes they set out for the first day of school more than 3 weeks ago! It was definitely a mix of all sorts of emotions for me that day, and really this whole week. I'm happy they want to go to school, and I'm actually used to Grant being in school, but sending my baby girl and having two in school makes me a little sad. Luckily Eliza is only gone for a few hours in the afternoon, and not all day. She's like Z's second Mom, I don't know what I'm going to do without her.

Grant wearing what he calls, "the coolest shorts ever". Eliza already to go, 4 hours too early. She was disappointed when I didn't drop her off with Grant.
I will miss you Grant, but I think little Z will miss you even more.
My handsome boy!
Too cool for school!

Little miss Lu-Lu all ready for Kindergarten.
Total cuteness!
Zach has no idea how much his life will change without is favorite play mate around. As soon as we drop her off, he becomes a broken record asking "where's La-la" ? He misses her.

Eliza requested two braids for her first day of school.
Sitting at her table in the class room next to her new friend Grace.
All ready to take on the world! I will miss you Lu-Lu, probably the cutest Kindergartner ever!!

So cute Eliza and Grant going to school. Really Eliza is in kindergarten? Its so crazy to think about. I didn't realize Jerom and Eliza were that close in age. Are they?

They are only a few months apart. I wish Jarom liked school as much a as lu. They looked so cute already. I miss them so much. I have been looking for cheap tickets for feb. but haven't found any yet, nothing less than 300 so far.

Eliza has to be the sweetest little Kindergardner I have ever seen. It is wierd that Grant is in 3rd grade. He is a great kid. I hope they enjoy the school year. Julianna asks for Elijah every day when I take him to school. Total love hate relationship. Anyway, how have you been feeling preggers?

I can remember how anxious I was every night before the new school year. It's such a fun feeling that tends to go away as you grow up.

Max starts preschool next week so I'm getting a little "separation anxiety" already:( Life moves at such a fast pace.

Absolutely adorable. Eliza has been waiting for this day for like 5 years now. And Grant- love the shorts man. They are the coolest shorts ever. I think I will go find Steve some. Love the pigtails, Lulu!

I hope that 1st Day of School was as awesome as your kids are! Take care!!

So cute! That's crazy that you just have Zach at home now - good thing you're adding another one to the bunch to keep him company, right?

OMG that is so sad! I think that I would have cried all day if I were you! Your kids are just adorable and that picture of Eliza is amazing, the up close one! You guys are such a cute family!

Well, since my daughter started Kindergarten too, I would have to argue with you on the 'cutest' part. She is adorable. It is so weird to me to think of having my kids in school. Anna has started doing things around the house that I know she must have learned at school (good things). It's just weird.

Thanks for bringing dinner by the other day. You are an angel!

Glory! Your kids are so cute, and they're getting way big. So, yes we finally have a blog, hurray. How are you and your baby doing? When do we find out if it's a boy or girl? We miss you soo much!
