When Paul wrecked his last car he figured it was time he had a more fitting car for a business man like himself. He found the car he loved, a black Volvo S60 with leather interior, and he got it for a great deal I might add. Well he's loved it so far but his luck began to change within 4 days of moving to our new house. We had just moved in and we were busy unpacking boxes when a knock came to our door, I thought, how nice one of our neighbors is coming to welcome us to the neighbor hood. Welcome us indeed, she had backed out of her drive way and right into Paul's car that was parked in the street since our garage was full of boxes. Our very distraught neighbor apologized for the massive dent she left in the driver side door, luckily she had insurance. The VERY NEXT DAY, Paul was at work and some dumb-dumb hit his car in the parking lot, didn't leave any kind of note but left Paul's front bumper literally hanging off on one side, we had to pay for that one out of pocket. EXACTLY ONE WEEK LATER, he was on his way home and parked at a stop light when he was rear ended. As a result he has to get his back bumper fixed. After almost a week of his car being in the repair shop he finally gets it back to discover that the driver side window doesn't work and the lock doesn't work, so back to the repair shop it goes... I'm seriously afraid to get in that car, do you blame me? It's cursed I tell ya!

Glory sad day but this post really made me laugh I couldn't believe it. I would be afraid. Nice car Paul. :) Very Buisness like.
SO sad. I think I would trade it in for another black Volvo and see if that makes a difference. I do think that bad luck comes in threes but in your case it seems that it is not the case. I am so sorry for all the bad luck. That really reeks.
When I came across your blog last week through my site meter, I couldn't help but want to leave a message. When I came back I realized that your blog was not accepting posts. Hooray, today it is! Your family is so darling! Good to see all is well. I'll have to tell Bill we found each other:) Now we don't have to wait for Christmas time to keep in touch anymore!

Maybe Paul needs a mini-van. Glory, you get a Beamer. I totally laughed- but what a serious bummer. This has not been your year with cars Paul.
We wish you luck.
I like what ashley said. I can just imagine paul driving his mini van to work. Too funny of a thought. What bummer luck. Kind of makes me sick. Sorry I missed your call. but I see all is well and crazy!! love you xoxo
Well, on the plus side, Volvos do have a good reputation for being safe in collisions. so I guess if you flip it, you won't be as messed up as some of the Ford drivers out there! Looks like you guys are having fun! I made teh journey to San Diego myself in June as well, just had the opposite weather. It was way too hot! Hope all is well! love you!
Oh, I think Matt might just go crazy if that all happened to his car--especially if it was a nice black volvo! Hope no more bad things happen to it!
